Switch Kit

Do you want to know how to switch to Premier Bank Today?

Step One:  Open a Premier Bank account.
Stop by one of our three Denver Metropolitan area locations or our Colorado Springs office.  Once you have your account opened you will need your new account number and Premier Bank's routing number to complete the switch.

Step Two:  Stop using your old account.
We suggest that you allow ten days for your outstanding checks to clear.  Destroy any unused checks, deposit slips, and your ATM/Debit cards for your old account.

Step Three:  Change your automatic withdrawals to your new Premier Bank account.
Fill out the "Automatic Withdrawal Change Form."  You may use this form for any business that debits your account electronically.  Be sure to notify merchants that make automatic withdrawals from your account using you old debit card.

Step Four: Change your automatic deposits to your new Premier Bank account.
Fill our the "Direct Deposit Change Form" and attach a voided check or deposit slip from your new Premier Bank account to the form.  You may use this form for any business agency that makes electronic deposits to your account, including your employer and the Social Security Administration.

Step Five: Close your old account.
Fill out the "Account Closing Form" and mail it to your previous bank after you are sure that any outstanding checks have cleared, and that your electronic transactions have been moved to your new Premier Bank account.  You do not need to go to your old bank to close your account unless you wish to.  Your bank will mail a check to you for the remaining balance in your account.
